On January 15, 2006, Radio JAKO was launched. Radio JAKO is named after the brilliant Georgian journalist, actor and sports commentator Kote Makharadze.

During the seven years, Radio JAKO did its best to cover all the International and national sport events. Radio JAKO always tried to support and make a contribution to the development of Georgian sport and has been successfully doing its job.
