Radio Asal is an independent, non commercial private media, servicing the vulnerable local communities. It was founded in December 2013 in Jowhar. It was a brainchild of an eclectic group local. Somali professionals and journalists comprising of both genders male and female led by Mr. Adam Hussein Daud with the support of jowhar community.
