Digitaal Hit FM was in de tweede helft van de jaren 80 een toonaangevend hit station voor Midden Nederland. Een groep van zo'n 30 enthousiaste radio liefhebbers maakte vanuit Baarn spraakmakende programma's. Een aantal van hen kwamen uiteindelijk bij de landelijk radio terecht.
