It was established in December 1994 as the first independent private radio station in Ghana. To demystify the concept of Ivory Tower, radio Univers equally broadcasts in four most prominent local languages spoken in Ghana (Akan, Ewe, Ga, Dagbani, Hausa)
Radio Univers presents an excellent blend of urban infotainment to serve its youthful audience.
The station is the leader amongst Campus-based Radio Stations in Ghana and hold a reputable position among the tall list of functioning Radio Stations in Ghana's capital, Accra.
